Main Page
Build the public first impression
The Main Page controls the public homepage: hero content, couple intro, welcome message, photos, and the first links guests use to navigate the wedding site.

Best workflow
- Enter the couple names and welcome language.
- Choose or upload the main photo/hero image.
- Check the page on desktop and mobile.
- Confirm top navigation text is readable against the selected theme.
- Preview after Theme Studio changes because public backgrounds and text colors can change together.
Content guidance
| Element | Guidance |
| Welcome headline | Keep it short; guests should immediately know they are in the right wedding site. |
| Main photo | Use a clean image with room for text or choose a theme that protects text readability. |
| Navigation | Keep only pages that are actually being used: details, RSVP, lodging, registry, story, and guest portal as appropriate. |
| Theme | Use Theme Studio to ensure all public page backgrounds and text contrast match. |
What changed recently
- Public pages should follow public theme choices, not planner-admin light/dark appearance.
- Light backgrounds need readable dark text across header URLs, page titles, cards, and sections.
- Index, registry, our story, and details should be checked together because theme consistency matters across all public pages.
Quick test
- Open the homepage in a private/incognito window.
- Check header, title, buttons, and body text.
- Click through to Details, Registry, Our Story, and guest RSVP.
- Fix unreadable text before sharing the link.
