Invitation Studio
Design, email, export, and track invitations in one place
Invitation Studio is the current combined workflow for Save the Date and RSVP/invitation card work. It replaces the older idea of maintaining separate Save the Date Studio and RSVP Card Studio menu entries for normal planner use.

Main workflows
| Area | Purpose |
| Card type selector | Choose Save the Date or RSVP/Invitation before editing, exporting, emailing, or tracking. |
| Design editor | Adjust layout, text, photos, protection/outline around text, and printable preview. |
| Guest view picker | Preview the card for a selected guest/household before exporting or emailing. |
| Email Delivery | Send the email version to eligible guests, review missing-email guests, and send incremental batches later. |
| RSVP Tracker | Track emailed, printed/mailed, unsent, missing email, and newly added guests. |
| Print/export | Generate print-ready output for print vendors or local review. |
Recommended order
- Clean the guest list and addresses first.
- Select card type: Save the Date or RSVP/Invitation.
- Design one strong layout and test it against several household names.
- Use the guest picker to verify names, long addresses, and guest-specific output.
- Send a small internal test email before sending all eligible guests.
- Mark printed/mailed status as batches are physically mailed.
- Use incremental sends for guests added later or missing emails that were fixed later.
Tracker status meanings
| Status | Meaning |
| Email sent | The guest was included in an email delivery batch. |
| Not emailed / unsent | The guest has not yet received the email version. |
| Missing email | The guest needs an email address before email delivery can include them. |
| RSVP printed / mailed | Use this for physical cards/envelopes already produced or mailed. |
| RSVP not mailed | Use this for guests still needing print/mail follow-up. |
Design notes
- Text protection should hug the actual text and behave like a light outline, not a wide block across the card.
- Portrait photos should not be stretched into landscape slots; keep natural orientation where possible.
- Default text below the location should be “Celebrate with us” unless the couple changes it.
- Couple names should remain prominent and not be accidentally removed by design changes.
Do not use old separate entries
Current menu targetFor normal planner navigation, use Invitation Studio. Older standalone Save the Date or RSVP Card pages may no longer be the recommended workflow; use Invitation Studio for current card design, delivery, and tracking.
